Witnesses by Jacki The other day I was counting my blessings when I was feeling down. I began to wonder, “Why am I so blessed to have a relationship with my Lord and Savior?” How is it that God chose me? And why am I so special to have the Bible translated in my language? God gave me an answer through His Word. The reason God has blessed me with the knowledge of His Son, Jesus, is so I can share the Good News with the world. Although I’m not worthy because I am sinful, God continues to “trust” me with spreading the facts about His Son Jesus who died a most horrible death for all people and conquered sin, death, and Satan. On the third day after death, He rose from the dead. All who believe in Jesus will live forever in heaven and nothing will harm them any longer. You see, God has blessed me and chosen me because He knows I can tell all I know and set a good example for others. I am not the only special person He has chosen to carry out His will. God has chosen each and every Christian to spread the news about His Son. Our Creator longs to have a relationship with everyone He has created, after all He died for all of us. I believe the only reason I am alive is to live for Christ and to tell others about Jesus so that through the Holy Spirit they will come to know Him as their Savior. Isaiah 43:10 “You are my witnesses, “ says the Lord, “And my servant whom I have chosen, that you may know and believe Me, and understand that I am He, before Me there was no God formed, nor shall there be after Me.” |
