OUTLINE OF THE BIBLE STUDY

The leader opens with prayer asking for God's blessing on the study.
The leader kindly asks all to have a one sentence thank-you prayer to share around the circle, thanking God for a blessing He has given them. The leader prays first to give an example..."Jesus, thank you for my parents" followed by an ambassador sitting next to him to affirm the one sentence example.
Leader asks that each person around the circle read a verse from the section of scripture being studied. Leader should start with ambassador next to leader and continue once around the circle.
Leader asks that each person read their verse again and comment on it, or share one thing they learned from it; seeking comments from others in the circle as appropriate. To assist the leader, other ambassadors are especially encouraged to offer comments. See samples below for ideas on how this sharing might be made more meaningful.
a)  In the study section, look for a key word like joy or peace, or a key thought. Pose an open-ended question related to that word/thought, that will invite a personal sharing or testimony. Example: "Share a time in your life when..."
b) If time allows, repeat steps 3, 4, and 5a.
a) To close, go around the circle asking each person to pray as God moves them. Have a person next to you who isn't afraid to start give the first prayer, possibly your trained girl Ambassador. The leader concludes the prayer.
b) When other small groups are also gathered for the study, seek one person to share a summary of your group's discussion when the everyone joins together again.
