inquire of the status. The finished CD was returned to Obie but was of
unacceptable quality. Obie sent it back to the company to be reproduced. It is
expected to be finished within a week, then sent to Nashville for the final
packaging. At this point, there is no estimated date of release.
New Years Gatherings are being planned in 3 different locations. Salt Lake
City UT, St Louis MO, Camp Luther NE. Additional information for all gatherings
can be found on the Web Site. All gatherings are expected to be well attended.
Pastor Moyer and Dan Barz have sent out evaluations to all churches that
hosted a Travel Team this summer. The feedback has been positive thus far.
NEW BUSINESS
The International Travel Team Applicants were discussed. It was decided that 8
team members would be selected not including the adult leadership team. Kim
Bueltmann has sent an audiotape of the methods and a few songs in German to be
duplicated and sent to all applicants. Pastor Moyer will interview each
applicant before the January Board Meeting and to check on their progress of
learning the Methods and Songs in German. Each applicant's preparation thus far
will be strongly considered when making the final decision. Bill made the motion
to wait until the January Board Meeting to decide who will serve on the Team and
final criteria for the selection process. Lisa seconded. Motion carried.

California.
· Would like to send 2003 STT around Michigan. I will also be striving to

WEB SITE · I am thankful for the great work Ed Allen and PasMac are doing on
maintaining sites. Ed is also quick at making necessary corrections.
· Have gotten familiar with www.lutheransonline.com by developing several sites
for SW Michigan OAFC, my family, and my Dad's church. It offers free hosting and
by using their templates works easily. It does take a lot of space with AAL
advertising.
· I am still trying to find out if I can get free hosting through Concordia,
Ann Arbor.
WEEKENDS · SW Michigan has been blessed with an almost full schedule. I will soon be
starting on 2002-03.

not have many that can join us. Information is also attached. Final recruitment
will be during New Years Gatherings.
· Presence at the Michigan District Pastors Conference October 15-17 in Lansing
gained additional contacts for both weekends and travel teams.
· In order to get to know area Lutheran junior high students better, I have
made myself available to substitute teach one time during the year in the 7th
& 8th grade classrooms. So far I have taught at Christ, Stevensville, on
October 5 and will on October 22.
