Individual Involvement
OAFC uses peer ministry: new people observe and learn from those already trained, and eventually they are able to train someone new.
To receive training, a person simply has to attend a training event.
Participants are normally age 12 and older, and no one is too old.
Training events include:
1) Outreach weekends held at local LCMS congregations,
2) Regional outreach events such as a New Year's training/celebration.
3) National Summer Training, held annually in the month of July.
All OAFC activities center around proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Six methods are used:
singing, dramas, puppet plays, Bible studies, personal witness, and the neighborhood survey.
We share our faith with each other, building one another up in Christ and creating strong friendships.
Through OAFC, many individuals have found lifelong friends, and many have gone into full-time church work. If you are interested in our ministry; go to the contact link at the bottom of this page and we'll do all we can to help connect you to this wonderful ministry!
