WOW! How OAFC has
impacted my life...I would have to say there are a lot of things. I
started with OAFC when I was in 8th grade. Being involved in OAFC
encouraged me to spend time in God's Word daily and to openly share my
faith with others. I spent 5 summers going to summer training and on 4 travel teams.
I really feel that helped me feel prepared and ready to share my love for
the Lord with others. |
After
high school I attended Concordia College (now University) in Seward. I studied to be a Lutheran teacher. Through teaching I was able to
continue to share my love for my Lord through all areas of life. Now I am able
to share that love with our three children and our congregation.
My husband,
Timothy, is a
pastor, and we work together in teaching our children and sharing our love for
Christ. We have used the OAFC songbooks with the youth, done several of the
puppet plays for the Sunday school/ church and have used some of the dramas.
OAFC prepared me for my ministry of God's love for us, sending His only Son to
die for all my sins and the sins of the world. I feel confident to share MY
faith with those around me with my many evangelism experiences in OAFC.
Sometime I hope we can become involved in OAFC in our
congregation. I had such a positive experience I want others to have it too.
