OAFC Summer Training Workshops
Basic
Workshops -
All Ambassadors who are attending their first Summer
Training will attend the first three workshops, but everyone
is welcome to get this in depth review.
1. Proclamation—[Bible Studies,] Survey and Witness
Methods w/Ed & Chris Steele
2. Presentation—Puppets, Drama, Nursing Home, Worship, [&
Personal Witness] w/Dan Barz
3. Principles—Qualities, duties, dress, host
guidelines w/ Pastor Dan Smith
In Depth Workshops
Returning Ambassadors will sign up for 2
of these workshops. Those attending their first ST will sign up for
one.
4.
Bible Study – discussion will move
beyond the Friday night SGBS plan to looking at other OAFC Bible
studies and how to use them.
5.
Drama – What makes a drama good?
6.
Puppets – What is the difference between doing puppets
and using puppets to tell the Good News?
7.
Leading Singing & Advanced Guitar – for the singer or
guitarist who knows most of the OAFC songs and is ready to serve
leading singing for the local group.
8.
Personal Witnesses – Help in writing good personal
witnesses and in teaching others.
9.
Canvassing – How to handle the difficult calls and
special opportunities.
Elective workshops – Returning
Ambassadors may choose 4 and First ST choose 2.
10.
Basic Guitar – A workshop will be offered to those who
want to learn how to play guitar, but have little or no training.
11.
Intermediate Guitar – This workshop is for
those who have learned basic chords and know how to play guitar.
They will be taught to play many of the OAFC songs.
12.
Happening Guitar – This session will be practice for
the Happening along with principles in leading the Happening and
other large worship settings.

– A girl's only discussion on topics like falling in love with

Fun as An Agent of Christ in High School - The Party
Doesn't Have To Stop- If you are in high school or college and
like to live a social life with parties and social events, but feel
as if going to them is going against you in your walk with God, then
come to this workshop. We will talk about parties, how to party and
have a good time in high school while sharing the gospel We might
even have a party during our time together because life is one big
party. Space is limited and to enter the workshop the number of the
workshop must appear on your name card so sign up! Nathan Seilk

Is Pornography really wrong? How far can I go without going too
far? The answers to these and other questions youth (and Adults) in
our church face from nurse Lisa Moyer. Dig in deep to what God
really intended for His people.
